BIRMINGHAM, AL, May 2 – Leaders Life Insurance Company selected MDI’s FIMMAS to administer its line of employer based voluntary insurance products. FIMMAS provides Leaders Life with a single user interface, simplified training, streamlined set up, improved customer service, and administration flexibility to support a wide range of worksite products. Full implementation of the FIMMAS system is expected by December 2011.

Leaders Life, with headquarters in Tulsa, Oklahoma, markets a variety of employer based voluntary insurance products in five states, servicing over 700 agents and brokers and 1,400 employer groups. Leaders Life was among the first companies in the US to offer critical illness worksite coverage.

Russ Angell, President and COO of Leaders Life, stated “We are excited about the prospects that FIMMAS offers us to better serve our insureds, employer groups and agents, primarily improved communication with our field agents and greater speed to market with new products.” The company’s Director of Operations, Melissa McElyea, is also excited that “FIMMAS's straight-through underwriting and web-based access will improve our operational efficiency for our underwriting and claims decision making.”
